Sandy River Delta/1000 acres
March 27th – Sandy River Delta (aka 1000 acres)
Time: 1 hour
Attendance: Me, Sage, Cheyenne,
Elise, Lydia & Bill (dog)
Distance: 2.5 miles round trip
Difficulty: extremely easy
We took off
at 2:30pm with clear sky’s and took the Confluence trail. It was beautiful and
nice, and the kids were well behaved. Had fun training bill on a leash. We
reached the end of the confluence trail which houses a wonderful exhibit in
honor of Lewis and Clark. Then took a peak out over the river, and then it
started raining. So we started back to the car. Then it started hailing,
pouring down rain and strong winds. Needless to say the girls were not happy at
all. It didn’t phase the boys at all, except bill who did not like one bit. We
were all soaked to the bone, and none of us were happy.
