I love all these new rides our boys take us on, when they get to choose. Today we had a make up ride for one of our Scouts who have missed a few rides over the summer. We started at the I205 Multi Use path at the Marine Drive connection, rode out via the Columbia Slough to Kelly point. Let me first say that the Columbia Slough trail is not road bike friendly. At least not a portion of it, that is completely unmaintained. Its a bummer, because its a beautiful route, and I would love to see it finished. After a quick break at Kelly Point we took off back to where we started but stuck to Marine Drive the rest of the way. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful ride.
