Horsetail Falls/Triple Falls

February 21^st – Horsetail Falls

Time: 11am to 2:30pm

Attendance: Brianna, Becky, Sage, Cheyenne and I.

Distance: 4.5 miles

Difficulty: Moderate

            Had a great day out with the kids for presidents day. We parked at Horsetail falls and then went up through the Oneonta Gorge loop, with a side trail to Triple Falls. I can honestly say, I’ve never done the Triple falls extension. It was nice. It was labeled not kid friendly, but the kids did really well. Chey was struggling with listening, but did great. Sage led most of the trip, with Becky checking up on him often. Lol. Brianna had a great time shooting pics with my camera, and becky had a chance too. It was a great hike, felt really good.
